We got married at Château Gassies last month and it was an absolute dream. This venue is magnificent, the rooms and every detail feel luxurious, truly the best place for your dream day. So many core memories were made there. Just yesterday, our friends were talking about how much they wish they could rewind time and relive those three incredible days of château life.
We also want to add a very special mention for Aurélie: You were truly one of the highlights of those unforgettable days. Everyone, literally everyone, from our families and friends kept saying how amazing you were. Your support, kindness, and professionalism didn’t go unnoticed.
Having you around was incredibly reassuring. You made everything feel smoother, calmer, and more joyful. We’re especially thankful for your help with setting up the brunch and all the behind-the-scenes magic you worked to make our wedding weekend so seamless and memorable.
One of Francisco’s and my favorite core memories is when you came to pick us up in the golf cart on the day we arrived. While many moments are still a bit blurry from the whirlwind of emotions, that one is crystal clear and will live rent-free in our minds for a very long time.
Once again, thank you. It just wouldn’t have been the same without you. You are truly the rockstar of Château Gassies!

Kerry & Julien, from Ireland.
We had our Wedding at Chateau Gassies in May 2025 and it was the best weekend of our lives. Stevie and Maeva made the whole planning process from Ireland much easier and were able to help us with all of our questions and concerns.
The Chateau was incredible and all of our guests were amazed with its beauty! There were so many spaces throughout the Chateau to use over the weekend, from welcome dinner and drinks to the Wedding Ceremony, drinks reception and dinner, and then the Day 2 pool party.
All of the staff and cleaning team were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The rooms were fabulous and the amenities were top class! We couldn't have picked a better venue!
Thanks again to all the team! We can't wait to come back and stay in the future.

We had the great pleasure of hosting our wedding festivities at Château Gassies over three days in June 2025.
1. The château and grounds have been beautifully renovated and are impeccably maintained. It is clear that a lot of thought has been given to the guest experience. The cleaning crew deserves a huge shout-out for the very high level of cleanliness over such extensive buildings, and the grounds-keeping team for the orderly lawns and gardens. We also loved the shady groves of old trees, especially the oak grove where we held our cocktail.
2. The team at Gassies is exceptionally friendly, helpful, and organized. Géraldine is the epitome of calm class, handling any situation with aplomb and bringing a wonderful sense of humor to what can be a stressful time. We worked with a great wedding planner (Nicole at Pétillante Weddings) who handled a lot of the communications in the lead-up to the wedding, but any direct exchanges with the Gassies team were efficient and organized.
3. The amenities were very appreciated -- the pool was in constant use by our friends and family, we had several basketball games, and the kids loved the playground. Baby cribs, irons and steamers, extra tables and chairs, the video projector and screen -- all these little thoughtful touches made the days easier and added joy and fun to our events.
4. The location could not be more ideal -- after dragging our friends and family across continents and oceans for our wedding, everyone appreciated that the wedding events were just a quick 15-20 minute drive from central Bordeaux. This gave everyone more flexibility on plans and hotels. We were also able to easily (and relatively cheaply) organize shuttle transfers back and forth from town. Despite being close to town, once you are at Gassies you really feel like you're in the countryside.

We booked this venue in February 2024 for our July 2025 wedding with 100 guests, and the entire journey has been nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, enjoyable, and full of joy - we felt like celebrities for the weekend!
Our guests haven’t stopped talking about what an unforgettable weekend it was - a celebration we'll cherish forever.
The venue itself is a great location to the city centre and airport. The rooms and grounds are beautiful and so well kept - we couldn't believe how quickly everything was tidied up from the night before!
And a special thank you to our incredible wedding coordinator, Stevie, who handled every one of my many questions with patience, professionalism, and expertise!

The wedding of our dreams was made possible at Chateau Gassies, thanks to Géraldine, her husband, and their wonderful team! They ensured we had everything we needed throughout our wedding week and were with us every step of the way. The rooms were not only beautiful and spotless, but also equipped with everything we could have asked for—and more.
Planning a destination wedding from the US was effortless because the Chateau’s website offered an excellent selection of partnered vendors to choose from. This made the process stress-free and gave us so much confidence in our decisions.
We are forever grateful to Chateau Gassies and their incredible team for making our special day even more magical than we had imagined. We cannot wait to return in 10 years to celebrate our anniversary in the very place where it all began!

We had the most incredible wedding weekend at the chateau. We had to delay our wedding by a year as we had a baby.
Stevie and the team were so accommodating & worked so well with our wedding planner to ensure all our dreams came true. Stevie was on site across the weekend - and was so accommodating of all our guests including, our one year old and other kids that attended!
We loved having breakfast with all our guests each morning in the Orangerie - Joana was wonderful!
The massage and the pool party, the day after the wedding were particular highlights.
We can't wait to come back for an anniversary soon..

We celebrated our wedding at Château de Gassie from 29 to 31 August 2025 and the experience was exceptional.
The venue is simply magnificent and perfectly suited to a large-scale event. The possibility of accommodating around forty people on site was a real bonus for our loved ones.
A huge thank you to Maéva, whose discreet, kind and professional support greatly contributed to the success of the weekend. We recommend this venue without hesitation.

I got married at the beautiful grounds of Chateau Gassies in mid September and it was a dream come true!
They are an established venue so everything from the beginning was streamlined to perfection. Communication (in English) was smooth and easy. our site visit a couple months before the wedding made us eager to return for the big day(s)
It’s a private property so you don’t have to worry about random people on the grounds for your wedding/private event. We especially enjoyed the fact that most of our guests were able to stay on the property (appx 40-ish) so everyone was on time to all the events.
The on site crew was super friendly and efficient, driving all the arrival and departures with golf carts to the parking lot so we didn’t have to drag our suitcases on the gravel paths.
We had a random issue that was discovered after the wedding, a curtain holder was falling off the wall. However, the chateau did a thorough assessment and ultimately deemed that we were not liable for the charge.
We would love to go back for any kind of reason, it was truly a magical experience
