In 2023, Weddings started in February and the season will extend until the Winter, 42 weddings planned this year. We have more and more brides and grooms from all over the world, and it's a pleasure to welcome them to Château Gassies for three days or more.

February - winter wedding

The venue is magnificent and the location is perfect (10 minutes from Bordeaux Saint Jean station).
The team is always available and attentive. The selected service providers were pleasant and very professional.

We found this venue online for our wedding in 2021 and instantly knew that was where we were going to get married. Due to Covid we could not visit until the following April (having already booked) and we fell in love with the chateau immediately.
With 100 guests to impress, we knew this place could do it. And it did! The terrace is gorgeous, the reception room a fantastic size and perfect for a large or small wedding. The bedrooms are stunningly decorated, spotlessly clean, and very well equipped and genuinely nothing was too much trouble for the team at Chateau Gassies.
Every single guest was in awe of the grounds and buildings and the weather was perfect!
It is the most magical and beautiful place to be and we were truly sad to leave.
Thank you so much to the team at Chateau Gassies who made our whole stay truly wonderful, and a very very special mention to Cloe who was our most helpful advisor throughout the whole planning stage.

“We had our wedding at chateau Gassies in June 2023. And it was the best 3 days of our lives. The place is beyond beautiful and somehow even better than what it looks in pictures if that’s even possible. And what makes it even better is the people who own it and who work there.
They made our stay so much more memorable. Geraldine and Behnouche made us feel at home from the moment we got there and Cloé who was the coordinator was in constant communication and made the whole planning process so easy on us.
We would highly recommend this venue for anyone planning to have a special wedding or even just staying there for pleasure. You can’t go wrong.
We’ll def come back again. Hopefully sometime soon!”

The venue has a beautiful soul and authenticity. The Lebanese Cedar is magnificent and bewitching (I highly recommend a little cuddle which is sure to soothe you 😁).
The rooms are splendid and comfortable. The whole team is available, attentive and very friendly!
We had unforgettable and wonderful moments throughout the weekend.
We will return with great pleasure and recommend the place with our eyes closed.

We had the most incredible four days at Chateau Gassies. Getting married here in July was truly the most magical experience. If you are looking for a luxury wedding venue that still has that "down to Earth"/relaxed feel look no further. Geraldine and her husband Ben do everything in their power to maximize their guests stays. The grounds are immaculate, rooms are pristine, and the entire ambience is superb.
All of the staff are extremely friendly and willing to help. We had zero issues over the course of our four days and the team really does think of everything (e.g. golf cart gate pickup to avoid luggage on gravel, shade umbrellas moved based on weather, changes of breakfast time if attendance the day before was low, the list goes on....).
Chateau Gassies staff- we will forever be grateful for all of your help and expertise. We already have on our married bucket list to return for a family vacation. Thank you so much for everything!

"We fell in love with Château Gassies on our first visit: splendid gardens, very comfortable rooms, magnificent hall. This is where we wanted to get married in July 2023, even though it was more than 4 hours from our home town.
And frankly, we have no regrets!
This is a magical venue that will leave us with unforgettable memories of our wedding. The support was perfect, the rooms were superb and everyone felt right at home.
We were also able to meet the owners, who are lovely people.
Our only regret was not staying longer!"

"We had our Wedding here in July 2023 for 100 people and all have come away completely amazed and in awe of the Chateau. The attention to detail and quality is of the highest level.
It has a modern spin on stunning surroundings. Perfect for all ages including the Swimming Pool, Spa area and picturesque pond upon entry.
We wouldn't change a thing about hosting our Wedding at the Chateau and are very keen to return in the near future. The Gites and Suites are spacious, luxurious and well equipped (hair drying, steamer, iron etc) - the kitchens in the Gites were also very convenient.

"Chateau Gassies allowed us to have a magical wedding experience. We booked the property over three nights to have our international wedding allowing for some extra time for our different worlds to get to know one another better and this location could not have been more perfect for that. It was easily accessible from Bordeaux airport/train station for our guests to arrive.
The property is incredibly beautiful and pristine which set an amazing ambiance and the rooms are so comfortable.
For the wedding itself, Chateau Gassies had everything one could ask for from the venue, rooms and location with incredible service from the owners and staff (Thank you all for your support!).
From start to finish it was a A+ experience and I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone thinking of getting married at a venue like this or just to pass some time in such a beautiful place."

"We had our wedding here on 6th of September 2023 and had an amazing time! Can’t recommend the venue enough 🧡
We initially had contact with Stevie who showed us around on a site visit and continued to plan the wedding through email and FaceTime sessions! She was amazing at getting back to us so quickly and was so helpful on the lead up to the wedding and on the wedding day.
They gave us great recommendations for the lunch before the wedding which was great as we didn’t know the area very well.
Chateau Gassies is around 25-30 minutes drive to the centre of Bordeaux and we loved this aspect of it as all the wedding guests enjoyed their time and were able to explore Bordeaux before and after the wedding. Bordeaux itself is a wonderful place , full of things to do and great restaurants and bars to go to!
Chateau gassies as a venue was great, the rooms were all recently renovated and there were multiple places to hold the ceremony and the dinner. We had an amazing time and our guests loved the location!3

"We chose Château Gassies for our wedding and are still nostalgic for all the moments we had together.
An incredible reception room, romantic suites, impeccable gîtes, nothing to say about this magical venue.
We couldn't have dreamt of anything better, and even celebrated our secular ceremony under the château's magnificent oak trees - and we haven't had a single regrets.
No false notes during these 3 days!
The venue was incredible, grandiose and all our guests were won over!
We'd like to thank Cloé, who accompanied us from A to Z, with her unfailing availability and great kindness. She made sure that we were able to live this moment to the full without any problems.
In our opinion, this estate remains one of the most beautiful places in Bordeaux to celebrate a wedding.
